Behind the Lens
I'm Stephie — storyteller, photographer, and the heart behind Road to Paradise.
This brand was born in 2015 as a personal blog, a quiet corner of the internet where I could write and create my way through self-discovery. The name? A playful nod to my last name, Paradis — French for paradise. But what started as my story has grown into something far bigger:
a space to witness, capture, and honor the stories of others.
My own story includes chapters that aren't easy to name: growing up through divorce, navigating emotional abuse, witnessing addiction, navigating grief and family estrangement. I share this not for sympathy, but because it's the foundation of how I show up for you. Every human who steps in front of my lens deserves to be met with care, curiosity, and zero judgment — and I don't take that lightly.
Road to Paradise holds space for all of it. The grief and the joy. The grit and the softness. The big milestones and the quiet, everyday moments that matter just as much. Whether you're a couple, a family, a creative, a business owner, or someone simply ready to be seen — I'm here to capture the version of you that words can't quite reach.
